Interpreting is something that requires years of study and practice to perfect, and an interpreter can make or break any event.
After all, good communication should be non-negotiable.
With my MA in Conference Interpreting and role as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Heidelberg, my clients know they can rely on my skills and experience.
As a sworn interpreter certified by both the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a German District Court, I’m also one of a small number of interpreters that can interpret at legally binding events.
I offer both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting.
Here’s a quick summary of what the difference is:
The interpreter waits for the speaker to finish their sentence or idea, then transforms them into the target language with the help of advanced note-taking and memory techniques.
Usually using headphones, the interpreter transforms the words into the target language at the same time as the person is talking.
I’m available for both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting at:
- Business and academic conferences
- Trade fairs
- Bilateral negotiations
- Training courses and more.
And for sworn interpreting at:
- Court proceedings
- Notarial appointments and more.
A few examples of my experience:
- Interpreter at Heidelberg University Hospital.
- Phone interpreter since September 2016.
- Consecutive interpreting during various film and theatre festivals (Q&A rounds, escort interpreting).
- Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting for conferences at Heidelberg University about nutrition and agriculture, trade, international relations and more.
- Dummy booth practice at the European Commission in Brussels.
- Community interpreting services for the police, social workers and doctors.

Document translation can be a very complex thing, and you need to make sure the translation you’re commissioning will be accepted by the relevant authorities.
I have been designated a sworn translator and interpreter in both Germany and Spain, meaning my translation is definitely going to be accepted by whatever institution requires it.
I can help with certificates, contracts, diplomas, personal documents and more.
Should you need both a sworn translator and a sworn interpreter for the documents you need to get married and the wedding itself, I can do both, something that not many linguists are qualified to do. The same applies to notary appointments.
With my sworn translations, it’s less likely that you’ll need an extra certification such as an Apostille, simplifying the process.
However, if you need or would like an Apostille, I can easily handle that for you.
